Configuration Settings
Purpose:
Allows a system administrator the ability to modify rules on how a form or field performs and how Person, Decedent and Contact names. The grid consists of rule Description and Value, the Description is read only: the administrator can change the value by clicking within that field and supplying a value that is consequential to the existing value.
Navigation Tips:
- For Example: ‘Create automatic attribute for Homicide death’ is valued as ‘true’. This value can be changed to false. If you input something other than true or false you will be notified as below upon trying to save.
- The result of this rule is: If ‘Manner of Death’ is Homicide the system will automatically assign the Homicide attribute. System will not remove attribute if manner is changed as there may be reviewable data.
- A number can only be replaced by another number. If you input something other than a number you will be notified as above upon trying to save.
- CLICK THE SAVE CHANGES OR CANCEL CHANGES BUTTON AT THE TOP OF THE FORM
Name Format Configuration:
Allows the administrator to format the way a name will appear in the system. Click in the appropriate field and a dropdown will appear with various name formatting options. Select each option as you want it to appear and it will display in the field as indicated below.
