  • Document Items
  • Entry of a document will have a barcode number associated to each item. The user can enter 1 or many items. Any document can be associated to a group: The user can associate the item to an existing group or, Create a new group. In that case, the user should select a Location for the new group which will then generate a Barcode number for that group. Was unable to do any grouping. Entry of an Item will create an entry for Chain of Custody using respective Entered By fields and storage/current Location, and any associated Group Barcode. See Chain of custody form for more details. No editing of any row is allowed if the document item has been recorded as “Destroyed”, or at an External Location Currently not functioning. Items can be grouped and ungrouped: When items of a group are ungrouped should be updated Group Barcode of each item to 0. An entry in COC for each item been ungrouped should be added with Entered By and Location fields, and Group Barcode= 0. If the item Location is edited, saving will add a new entry in the COC for the individual Item using Entered By and Location fields. Will need to retest group when it is working. In the "documents" grid, the user will be able to change the Location of an entire group. In that case, this will add a new record in COC for each item associated to that group and will then update the item’s “Location”. Will need to retest group when it is working.
