Holds

Overall description

Purpose: Form is used to place holds on the body, specimens, property, evidence and information, and see history of all holds. All holds will display in the banner if not on hold will display ‘No’.
Layout: The page is organized in 6 collapsible sections. See below for specifics if available for each section.

Section Information
Each hold section has the same ability to place/ remove and expand information.
Sideways triangle button at top of grid is used to expand all rows in the grid to see additional information. Each row can also be expanded by selecting the sideways triangle for that row. Placing Holds is completed by pushing button Place Hold. This will bring up a popup that allows user to enter a reason and authorization. Click update to finalize entry.

Section - Information

• Information Hold

This hold displays in the banner and lets users know when to not release information on the case.

• Body Hold

Placing this hold will prevent the body from being released.

• Specimen Hold

This hold will prevent destruction or external transfer of specimens.

• Medication Hold

This hold will prevent the destruction or external release of medication items.

• Property Hold

This hold will prevent the destruction or external release of property items.

• Evidence Hold

This hold will prevent the destruction or external release of evidence items.
