Personal Effects/Currency

Purpose:

This form is used to input all personal effects and currency that is collected for an individual case.

Personal Effects Section

Navigation Tips:

• : Click to enter a new property item,
• For consistency will need to discuss required fields.
• If the user clicks on the “Evidence” check box, that item will then transfer over to the grid located on the “Evidence” form and will not display on the personal effects grid.
• Can also indicate that this can be used when an item is initially deemed property or evidence and needs to be re-categorized.
• For consistency we will need to discuss the editing of the row.
• We also will need to discuss the location of left on body. Any item that has a location of left on body is available to be released with the body. The problem is the body intake release form is not working that well and will need to be fixed so we can understand exactly how it works before typing up the help.

Currency Section

Navigation Tips:

• : Click to enter a new currency item,
• The user can enter in the total amount in one entry or enter the different denominations and coins individually.
• We only want the actual denominations to be entered, this is going to change so we should wait until completed so we can get the help correct
• Once the currency has been entered, the user will see the calculated amount displayed above the grid

Personal Effects Released Section

Navigation Tips:

• This grid is a quick view of the items that have already been released. To edit or view the record in its entirety, go to ”Personal Effects/Currency Release” form.
• There is another function here that does not currently exist that will need to. Re-printing the release receipt.
